Had a great time, but the shower could've been a bit better. Breakfast was top-notch, heaps of options, and super tasty!

The breakfast was exceptional and offered gluten and lactose-free options, ensuring that everyone could enjoy a hearty start. The common lounge had a cozy turf fire, creating a comfortable space to unwind after a day out, especially on rainy evenings.
Some rooms had limited views and certain antique beds were a bit too small for taller guests. The distance from town means you might need to rely on taxis, and there were reports of inconsistent internet connectivity that could be frustrating for planning outings. A lack of in-room tea and coffee facilities was also noted, which might be a convenience issue for some. guests mentioned minor maintenance concerns that could detract from the otherwise high standards of cleanliness.

Hartley House B&B is truly a delightful place to stay. Kate's hospitality immediately stands out. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel very welcome. The room, a Deluxe Double Room with Shower, was beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and very comfortable. I appreciated the charming antique décor that enhanced the homely vibe. Waking up to an outstanding breakfast was a highlight. it provided a lovely start to the day with an impressive variety of options. The cozy sitting area was perfect for relaxing after a day out. the house is slightly out of town, which means relying on taxis to reach dining spots. I'd have liked some tea and coffee facilities in the room for late-night unwinding. These minor inconveniences didn’t overshadow the exceptional stay I had.
